Aerial banner helps #colesandwoolworths campaign get off the ground
On a mission: Thankyou Water was seeking an angle for their campaign which "could not be overlooked." A 10,000ft2 aerial banner flying over Woolworth's headquarters? It appeared to fit the bill.
It was a helicopter stunt for a good cause – delivering a message straight to Woolworth's front door.
The massive black banner read:

Flying a flag for a good cause
The weather on the day was picture perfect – light winds around 10 knots and clear blue skies.
Much of Sydney got a look at the banner, which was a massive 35 metres long × 27 metres wide.
At 10,000ft2 or 930m2 in size, the banner weighed around 85kg and was transported by ute to the private property in Annangrove where the chopper set up.
A flight plan lodged with Air Traffic Control to ensure our desired route was on their system and no delays would be encountered.
Coles gets the message
As a result of the campaign, Coles agreed to meet with the Thankyou team. It was a fruitful discussion, with Coles deciding to come on board as suppliers for Thankyou products.
Sky High Campaign Reaches its Target
First Coles, now Woolies – both of the major supermarkets have taken the message on board.
It was fantastic to hear that Australia's Fresh Food People have also agreed to stock the Thankyou range. EPS are pleased to be part of something that is making a real impact on poverty around the world.
